Refund & Cancellation Policy

Summary: Annual membership. Full refund within 7 days only if verification has not started. Once we begin reviewing your credentials, the fee is non-refundable. You can cancel before renewal to stop the next year.

1. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP

BuildersPass memberships (Standard Pass, Verified Pass, and Elite) are sold as an annual term. Your membership begins on the date of purchase and runs for twelve (12) months.

2. 7-DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD

You may request a full refund within seven (7) calendar days of purchase, provided that our verification team has not yet begun reviewing your application. To request a refund within this window, email admin@builderspass.com from the email address on your account.

3. NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE VERIFICATION BEGINS

Once our team begins reviewing your submitted credentials — including but not limited to SAM.gov registration, contractor license verification, insurance certificates, Davis-Bacon compliance documents, MBE/WBE/DBE certifications, or background checks — your membership fee becomes non-refundable. Verification work consumes staff time and third-party data costs that cannot be recovered.

4. CANCELLATION BEFORE RENEWAL

You may cancel your membership at any time to prevent the next annual renewal. Cancellation must be submitted at least seven (7) days before your renewal date. Cancellation stops the next year's billing — it does not refund the current year. Your profile remains active and visible in the directory through the end of your paid term.

5. REVOCATION FOR CAUSE

BuildersPass may revoke a membership without refund if the member submits false information, fails verification, violates the Terms of Service, or engages in conduct harmful to other members or to the integrity of the directory.

6. NO PRORATED REFUNDS

Memberships are not prorated. Downgrading or cancelling mid-term does not generate a partial refund.

7. HOW TO REQUEST

Send refund or cancellation requests to admin@builderspass.com from the email address associated with your membership. Include your company name and the date of purchase. We respond within five (5) business days.
